Who is responsible
BarrierX LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at privacy@barrierx.ai.
What we collect, and why
When you send the contact form
We collect your name, business email address, phone number, role, company, your company’s annual revenue and number of employees (as ranges) and a short description of the deal you want to discuss. We use this only to reply to your request and to prepare and arrange a conversation, by email or phone. To keep out false requests, we check that the domain of your email address can receive email: this reads the domain’s public mail settings and does not contact you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell your data.
The legal basis is your request: we process the data to take steps you asked for before any agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The fields marked as required are needed to reply to you; without them we cannot answer your request.
Please do not send customer data, CRM exports or passwords through the form.
When you visit the site
Like any website, the servers that deliver this site process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the pages and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not use automated decision‑making or profiling.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies and does not use advertising tools. To see which pages are read and which links bring visitors, it counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider. It stores nothing on your device. For each page view it records the page, the referring site and the parameters of the link you arrived with, your approximate location (country, region and city) and the type of browser, operating system and device. On the contact form it also counts that the form was started, which field still needed a correction and that a request was sent, with the campaign of the link you arrived with; it never records what you type. Visits are told apart by a code derived from the request your browser sends, which is discarded after 24 hours, so we see totals and never who you are. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages and campaigns work (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts are served from our own domain, so your visit is not shared with a font provider. If this changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who receives the data, and where
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Contact requests are delivered to our inbox by email through Resend. Both act on our behalf and only for these purposes. Both are based in the United States, as is BarrierX LLC, so your data is processed in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep contact requests for as long as the conversation runs and at most 24 months after our last contact, unless an agreement follows, in which case the agreement sets the period. Technical server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period under its own retention settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, for correction or deletion, for restriction of processing and for a copy of your data. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@barrierx.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live or work.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
